Democrats want to take all our money and return to us one dime out of each dollar.
Republicans want to take all our money and give it to corporations and the wealthy.
Neither is acceptable!

Countdown to Congressional Elections
The most effective way to restrict democracy is to transfer decision-making from the public arena to unaccountable institutions: kings and princes, priestly castes, military juntas, party dictatorships, or modern corporations.

The latest financial report card is out on our president. George Bush has racked up more national debt than any president in the history of the United States. He has spent more money than any President since Lyndon Johnson over thirty-five years ago.
As you may recall the Republican Party is suppose to be the party who doesn’t spend money. However, with all the laws this party has passed in recent years that protect the wealthy and the corporations from taxes, they now feel free to spend. Don’t think for one moment that they are worried about their grandchildren & great-grandchildren having to pay the bills that are currently being stacked up. These guys know their descendents and the descendents of their friends are not going to be the ones paying later. It will be the descendents of the working middle class. And that is just fine with them.
It is also interesting to note that George Bush did not veto one single bill that was placed on his desk when the Republicans controlled Congress. But to date he has vetoed every bill the Democratic Congress has sent to him. And who says opposite parties can’t work together?
