The Facts
For the past few weeks Fox News has been demonizing the celebrities that have been endorsing Democratic presidential contenders, and demonizing the contenders for accepting these celebrity endorsements. They openly make fun of this fact and laugh about how ridicules & meaningless they think this is.
My View
Everyone is allowed to have their opinion. Everyone is allowed to voice their opinion. Everyone is allowed to support who they want to support. Everyone is allowed to criticize. And everyone who can will use their status or position to obtain personal objectives. However, Fox feels those allowances should only apply to themselves and those who see things the way Fox does. Wouldn’t it be fun to turn back the clock and have Fox News around when their Republican hero Ronald Reagan, the movie star, was running for president & getting all those celebrity endorsements? What’s the word I’m looking for here? Oh, yea; hypocrisy! But of course, hypocrisy is Fox News’ silent motto.
