The Facts
It seems that the biggest single ongoing issue between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama is the issue of health care. The bickering between two candidates on this issue seems to just go on and on. It’s time for them, or someone who is unbiased, to publish the exact differences of the two and define specifics so the public and the candidates can get this issue resolved.
My Dilemma!!
My request for an exact defined clarification on this issue is not a request to debate the need for, or against, a universal health care plan. Whether you like it or not, it is an issue that the American people deserve to know the exact facts, and what exactly are the differences between the two. It’s this vagueness that politicians have used too many times to pull the wool over our eyes. This issue is much too important to be left up to the politicians to define after the fact. Below is what I understand; feel free to correct me, give your understood facts, and/or direct me and the other readers to a source that answers these questions.
- Clinton – Mandates health care (how?); any & all insurance companies must offer health care insurance to anyone without exception. (Is cost to policy holder a consideration?)
- Obama – Does not want mandated health care; rather he wants health care cost to be affordable. (What is “affordable”?) He says it is too expensive. He would create a national health care insurance program. (What is the definition of this?) He would mandate coverage for children (how?).
We the People need to see each of their specifically defined proposals, primarily to know what we are voting for or against, but also in order to get past this issue of differences. Of course, we all know that neither one of them want to tell us, because then they couldn’t use the issue effectively against each other. Who knows, there may not be a nickel of differences between the two plans.
Footnote: You may see this same post on two of my sites. The reason is so that we can get input from those who may only visit one of the sites.

Neither of their views really make sense yet.. They have basic ideas that they want to push (Hillary has had hers for YEARS and she still cant get it straight) They are both just smart enough to know that health care is a major issue in the world right now and they want to use it to get your attention.. Whats REALLY going on? Well, there are elderly people out there on fixed incomes that cant pay their Medicare premium that continues to increase. This is why AARP has set up http:// http://www.thisissoridiculous.com so that we can sign a petition to make our voice heard. They also have updated news, video and while your there you can e-mail your congressman to let him know how you feel! Medicare is an important issue in the US right now, and we really need to be heard on this, or it’s just going to get more and more out of hand!
