The Facts

A new poll says the Democratic controlled congress has a current approval rating of only 39%, while the George Bush/Dick Cheney administration has a 32% approval rating. The report that went along with the poll said the reason Congress had such a low rating was because they were doing nothing about their voters dissatisfaction with the Republicans. Promises to do something about that was what got the Democrats in control of Congress in the first place. But the Democrats are doing nothing to keep those promises and take advantage of the low White House rating.

The report went on to point out why the Democrats were sitting on their thumbs. In a nutshell, it said that they were afraid of loosing credibility and stature if they went on the offensive.

My View

Well, there you have it; the Democrats have joined the Republicans. I think we all knew they were no more interested in taking care of the American people than the Republicans were, and this is proof of that. They, the Democrats, are more concerned about their own status & just being in power than they are about the country and the people. And you know what is the most amazing part of this is? THEY DON’T CARE if we the people know that and see them as such. The attitude of both parties is “we may not be working for you, but there is nothing you can do about it. We have become too powerful”.
