Democrats want to take all our money and return to us one dime out of each dollar.
Republicans want to take all our money and give it to corporations and the wealthy.
Neither is acceptable!

The most effective way to restrict democracy is to transfer decision-making from the public arena to unaccountable institutions: kings and princes, priestly castes, military juntas, party dictatorships, or modern corporations.

Today Barak Obama, Hillary Clinton, and John McCain lashed out against Lou Dobbs of CNN saying in essence that Dobbs was stirring up the population and just “talking” about problems, instead of offering solutions. They, and other candidates, think Dobbs and the few other reporters that are reporting on these kinds of things should just keep their mouth shut.
My View
Let me get this straight; so now reporters are supposed to come up with ways to solve our countries problems, not the politicians. But what’s worse is that they are saying that reporters are stirring up the population. I couldn’t possibly come up with a better example of how disconnected politicians are with the voting public. The reporters the candidates are talking about are the ones that are reporting on what the public is writing in to them about. Sure, the public could write in to the candidates and other elected officials, but they have proven time after time that they are not listening to us. So the only out we have is to write in to the reporters with our concerns. The candidates will be doing a real service to the voting public and the country if they would listen to what the reporters are telling them rather than criticizing them. They just might find out what the real problems are. They certainly have no problem listening to the reporters that are giving them favorable reports.
