The Facts
What’s the top priority of the Veterans Affairs Department? Dishing out bonuses to them selves. What’s their lowest priority? Making severely wounded veterans wait to receive their first disability payment. While ordinary American citizens wave the flag and honor our soldiers, the VA sees them in a different light — a means of enriching them selves.
So far the decision-makers in the VA have paid themselves $24 million in bonuses according to this article in The Washington Post. Jennifer S. Duncan, executive assistant to Robert Howard, paid herself $60,000, in addition to authorizing college tuitions payments to some of her family members and friends at a cost of $140,000.
My View
Where in the hell does one start in describing how sickening this is? But what can we expect? Charity organizations do it with donations made to the charity. Wall Street is doing it with taxpayer money. Every single elected official on Capital Hill and most of their “hired” help does it. The “entitlement” policy is well established — ‘enhance my wealth by raping the defenders and common citizens of our country’.
But the most insulting “up yours” is yet to come. Duncan and a couple of the others will simply be “transferred”, or at worse, loose their job. She and maybe a couple of others who become high profile may be required to pay some of the money back. Then that will be the end of it. The other decision-makers will simple wallow in their blessings, laugh in the face of the veterans and the taxpayers, and continue on with their useless lives while exploring different angles to do it again. Hail to the life of the American aristocrats!

Sorry Jim. I searched high and low for a picture at the time of posting. None to be found. My purpose of wanting to post pictures of these sorts of scumbags is in hopes of public embarrassment.
