April 23, 2012

You probably remember when Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity, among other Fox Faux personalities, were driving the anti-union crowd early last year. They couldn’t say enough bad things about unions and union members, and continually had guest who were fellow bashers. They even went so far as to slam the salaries of union member’s. But it’s obvious the attitude of those at FF is “unions for me but not for thee”.

Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity will be signing a new multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with FF — a contract negotiated by their “union”. Like all high-profile news personalities, both have agents to negotiate their employment contracts. Typically the subjects never personally discuss the terms with their employer or perspective employer; the wrestling match’s are left to the hired help.

No word yet on the dollar amounts, but O’Reilly was making $11 million as of last year at FF. Sean Hannity is reported to make $20 million each year through his radio program, but nothing concrete on is FF salary. But not to worry; rest assured their union boss got them the best possible deal.
