Democrats want to take all our money and return to us one dime out of each dollar.
Republicans want to take all our money and give it to corporations and the wealthy.
Neither is acceptable!
Campaign 2010
Countdown to Congressional Elections
The most effective way to restrict democracy is to transfer decision-making from the public arena to unaccountable institutions: kings and princes, priestly castes, military juntas, party dictatorships, or modern corporations.

Entering the primary season of the 2008 presidential election, John McCain was far from being the favorite to win the Republican Primary as viewed by most of the media and media talking heads. Rudy Giuliani was seen as the very big favorite, with Mitt Romney running a close second, and Fred Thompson coming in third. The only thing that kept McCain from being dead last was Ron Paul. Most of the far right was supporting Giuliani, with an eye on Romney if Giuliani faltered. So when McCain ended up being the last man standing, most of the old George Bush far right supporters were surprised and disappointed. Continue Reading » »
With just seven days before the Presidential election a lot of folks haven’t made up their mind who they really want to vote for. Naturally, the hard-core Republicans and hard-core Democrats will vote their party, and that’s just fine. But before you vote, you should know what campaign promises they have [...]
With nine days left before the elections, Republicans running for reelection have adopted a new tactic to improve their reelection possibilities; they are warning voters of serious problems with having both the legislative and executive branches controlled by the Democrats. With this new attack, it seems the Republicans have basically accepted that John McCain will not win the Presidency, and feel they are in danger of loosing more seats in Congress. Michele Bachmann, a member of the US House of Representatives from Minnesota’s 6th district, was interviewed on October 17th by Chris Matthews of MSNBC. The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) has been nabbed for filing fake election forms in advance of the presidential election in November. The crime was discovered in Indiana. As a result, ACRON has lost all credibility as a viable organization for getting voters to register, and rightfully so. My hope is they will cease to exist. The propaganda attacks have begun in full force to lay blame on a particular political party for this financial mess we are in. While supporters of both parties are guilty of these attacks, the Republican supporters have a clear edge over the supporters of the Democratic Party. You see a little of this in the presidential campaign ads and a bit more comes from pundits. And we saw it today with the House leaders blaming the Democratic leadership for some Republicans not voting for the bailout bill and Barney Frank blaming the Republicans. But the vast majority comes from those who have appointed themselves as the head attack sharks for their party, and they do it in the form of propagandist emails and video clips. Continue Reading » »
With the exception of one news outlet, everyone has been, and still is, talking about John McCain changing his mind concerning regulating the business world, in particular the insurance and financial institutions. Beginning earlier this week, McCain has not only embraced regulation, but is demanding it in the face of the taxpayers being ripped off just to make a lot of rich people richer. He called it “reckless conduct, corruption and unbridled greed” on Wall Street. He went on to say “government has a clear responsibility to act in defense of the public interest, and that’s exactly what I intend to do. We’re going to enact and enforce reforms to make sure that these outrages never happen in the first place”. Continue Reading » »
No where else than during a campaign does fiction exist more. This has been the case for so many decades that a candidate has actually come to believe they can’t win an election with just truth and a meaningful platform. We voters have perpetrated that mentality by supporting & repeating their fiction, then voting for them based on that fiction. Unfortunately for America, that fact has never been more prevalent than today, and has been escalating for the past 28 years. Continue Reading » »
