MSNBC has removed Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews as anchors of live political events. The move was due to a lot of criticism from without and within the network, but no specific names were given other than Tom Brokaw, who said “at times Olbermann and Matthews went too far”.

While watching CNBC today John Harwood, who is covering the Republican Party convention for CNBC, was talking about the “left of center bias” in the main stream press. He went on to say that CNN’s own surveys show that the majority of people who watch CNN are Democrats.
