Muslims Get Labor Day Replaced With Their Own Holiday

The Facts

Tyson Foods of Shelbyville, Tennessee has caved to their more-than-half Muslim employees and agreed to drop Labor Day and replace it with Eid al-Fitr, a Muslim holiday. The holiday will be October 1st this year, the end of Ramadan. Tyson Foods employs 700 Muslims, and says they agreed to it because “the majority asked for it”. The Muslim employees had already convinced Tyson to build a Muslim prayer room inside the plant. Continue Reading » »
