Democrats want to take all our money and return to us one dime out of each dollar.
Republicans want to take all our money and give it to corporations and the wealthy.

Campaign 2010
Countdown to Congressional Elections
The most effective way to restrict democracy is to transfer decision-making from the public arena to unaccountable institutions: kings and princes, priestly castes, military juntas, party dictatorships, or modern corporations.

There are members of the Republican Party who stand behind the working class. But Rick Perry is not one of them. He’s a want-a-be President, therefore he’s buttering up big business, just like Bush II did, in order to get their backing. [...]
The Democrats in Congress are using the unemployment stimulus money to try to get states to change some laws that is none of their business. If the Democrats would take off their blinders and get out of that ‘it’s payback time’ mentality — [...]
Those that are benefitting from the current direction of money flow are saying the Obama administration is turning us toward socialism. If President Obama and others will jump through the hoops for one idiot and twelve dummy’s, imagine what they would do if five million people stood in front of the White House and demanded our $74 billion back. [...]
what irks the holy hell out of me is this hypocrisy of Rick Santelli and so many others like him. I ask the same question that has so often been asked before; ‘where was your mouth (and those of the trading floor) when trillions was being spent to bail out Wall Street’? [...]
If the results are a failure, the Republicans will be saying ‘I told you so’ and the Democrats will be pointing toward “circumstances beyond control”. But if the results are positive, we will have the Republicans pointing to some other reason for success and the Democrats saying ‘see, we were right’. Either way, the country and people loose, politically speaking. [...]
